Hobby Rocketry

Rocketry

BIC Open House on Tuesday, February 6th 5:30-6:30!

Rocketry Bay Clean Up Day on Wednesday, February 7th, at 5:00PM!

We have the opportunity to volunteer at the Terre Haute Children's Museum on Saturday, February 10th and (maybe also) Saturday, February 17th. Please come and help inspire some kids to pursue rocketry too!

We were thinking of having a table and showing off some of the hardware that we have built including a few of our rockets, a small liquid rocket engine and, and in progress satellite hardware.

Some of the topics we were thinking of sharing with visitors:

  • Our journeys into aerospace and how we got involved.

  • The projects our club is pursuing (rockets, satellites, liquid engines).

  • The engineering activity happening at Rose-Hulman.

  • What they can do to get involved and advice as they go through their middle school and eventually high school journeys.
