Parachute Folding Guide
A proper parachute fold is critical to a successful flight. If a fold is not executed correctly, it can and will result in an off-nominal descent and potential damage to the rocket and, if applicable, the payload.
General Rules of Folding
The parachute is folded in such a way that the air will flow into the parachute and inflate it upon deployment.
The parachute lines are organized and untangled.
The fold is compact.
The folding technique can be easily repeated.
Making your parachute folds follow these rules will increase the chances of as-designed deployment.
