Organization Structure Document

Overview

 

Project Manager (Held by @Timothy Ausec)

The project manager leads the admin team and is responsible for coordination between the subteam leads. The admin team handles on boarding of new members, scheduling full team meetings, ensuring the creation of documentation, fiscal responsibilities (soliciting donations, managing spending, etc..), and public relations & outreach.

Subteams

Below are the names of the subteams:

  • ADCS

  • Admin

  • Chassis

  • Communications

  • Flight Computer

  • Ground Station

  • Payload

  • Power System

Elections

Elections will be held winter quarter of each academic year and will be a full team meeting. People will either be nominated or nominate themselves for subteam positions and admin team positions. Those running for positions will give a speech on their merit and once all have spoken they will leave the room and the collective team will deliberate and vote, questions will be asked of the candidates if they arise.
