Introduction to SmallSat

Welcome to the RSS landing page! Here you can learn about our project and how to get involved!

We are an undergraduate team focused on manufacturing a flight-ready small satellite by 2027, and launching through NASA’s CubeSat Launch Initiative (CSLI) by 2028. Our CubeSat will deploy a starshade with novel LET hinges for folding.

Getting Involved

Step 1: Join our discord server, and make sure to voice your interest!

Step 2: Find out when our next meeting is using the #Announcements channel! We usually meet on [TBD] in [TBD]

Step 3: Attend a meeting!

Once you’re with us, we’ll help you get a taste of what the project entails and find your home on one of our subteams (check out our Organization Structure Document to see how our project is structured).

If you’d like more information on the project before attending a meeting, peruse this confluence page! There’s plenty to chew on!
